Company history
START ENGINEERING JSCo is a successor of the  Start-up and Commissioning Division - a former branch of EC MONTAGI, which for more than 40 years has participated in the erection of almost all small and big sites from different branches of the industry in Bulgaria - power industry, chemical industry, metallurgic industry, etc.
The company had been working in two main fields:

-  tuning up, starting up and commissioning of electrical equipment installations;
- tuning up and commissioning of Control and Instrumentation units and Systems for automated control of technological equipment.

About 180 specialists work in Start Engineering, half of them being licensed engineers (M.Sc.).
Our specialists have been working on sites in the Middle East, Africa, Central Europe, and in countries of the former USSR.

Company structure
START ENGINEERING JSCo is a fully private company. It consists of branches (groups), placed in the main industrial centers on the territory of the country - Bourgas, Varna, Veliko Turnovo, Kozlodoui, Kremikovtzi, Pernik, Pleven, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, and Sofia. The main office of the company is in the capital of Bulgaria (3, Lokomotiv St., 1220 Sofia). An efficient communication network for flexible management and co-ordination of the personnel from the different branches, according to the current need of specialists on current projects, links the branches.


The tradition
START ENGINEERING is above all more than 40 years of tradition in commissioning of almost all production sites in the country.

There could hardly be found a unit in the power industry, production line in the metallurgy, blast furnace or technological process in the chemical industry, commissioning of which was made without the participation of our specialists. It is about activities of START ENGINEERING, connected with:

• inspection and adjustment of electrical equipment;
  
• inspection and adjustment of protection systems;
  
• technological control, signaling and regulation;
  
• testing and inspection of the efficiency of the industrial ventilation systems.
  

The reality
Today the situation calls for rehabilitation and modernization of the existing capacities. START ENGINEERING meets the challenges of the day.
As an engineering company, it began to renew the conventional systems for technological measurements and control by introducing information and control computerized systems.

Principles of work
We are well acquainted with the realities. By estimation of the capabilities and interests of our clients, we propose a technical solution that will adequately meet their technological requirements, and for a reasonable price.

We resist the temptation to partially solve the problems, for automation of separate parts of units only, or of production complexes.

We are sure, that only an integral solving of the problems leads to actual results.

We are always looking and finding balanced solutions of compromise for our clients in modernizing of existing equipment.

A solution of compromise however, cannot look like a short garment. On the contrary, the designs, proposed and already realized by us remain open for future development. This gives us the opportunity, taking into consideration the dynamic development of the programmable methods for control of industrial processes, to offer update of the system already built.

We are analyzing in details the results from the observation of the objects for control.

On this basis, we develop our own algorithms, that we introduce in the realized systems.

We are always available to our clients, in order to materialize their new ideas for extension in our system, or to optimize the technological processes.
